An assembly manual is included with the product, but please also read the assembly instructions below before assembling the product.
Tools required for assembly
- 1 pair of 30mm wrenches or spanners
・19mm wrench or spanner
- 10mm hex wrench
・Stepladder (or large footstool) 1 unit
1. Opening
The main body will arrive in 5 boxes. Assembly instructions are in BOX 4.
2. Assembling the support part
First, set up the posts on the base.
3. Installation of sliding rod and each part
Connect the sliding rod to the support and install each part from the bottom in the following order: "rubber ring" → "safety" → "rubber ring" → "bar" → "rubber ring" → "rubber ring".
Important points : The bar weighs approximately 22.5 kg by itself, so it is difficult for one person to attach it to the sliding rod. Be sure to have multiple people work together and use a sturdy footrest.
*When installing the safety or bar, please make sure that the up/down and front/back directions are correct.
4. Fixing the upper part of the rod
Secure the top of the rod.
5. Fixing to the cross member (or trawler)
Make sure the Smith attachment is vertical and secure the top to the cross member (or trawler).
Important points to note: If the connection position of the upper bolt is not properly aligned, the Smith attachment will tilt. Check that the Smith attachment is vertical by measuring the distance to the rack support, etc., and then secure it.
